The Marquette Area Blues Society is pleased to announce that the Marquette Area Blues Fest is returning for 2021 at Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette, MI. Following the recent relaxing of COVID-19 restrictions by the State of Michigan, the MABS Board of Trustees unanimously voted to hold the event this year. This year's Blues Fest will be held September 3-5, 2021 and will include the Free Friday Night community celebration along with the ticketed events on Saturday and Sunday.
MABS President Mark Hamari says, "We are really excited to bring the Blues Fest back this year! People are ready to get outside and hear great live music again, and we have heard from so many of our usual festival-goers who can't wait for it to happen. After the disappointment of having to cancel last year, it just feels good to say it's going to be happening!"
The Marquette Area Blues Fest features world-class blues performers on the main stage, artist workshops, a dance floor, several local food vendors and a fully stocked beverage tent featuring some of Marquette's best craft brews, seltzers and wines. A list of all of this year's performers will be released in the coming weeks along with ticket purchasing information, including area ticket outlets.
Full updates coming soon! We can't wait to see you all again this Labor Day Weekend!
